ShortcutDock replaced my macOS Dock completely. I hid the Dock on day one and never looked back. The menu bar dropdown is so much faster than Launchpad.
The Groups feature is brilliant. I have separate groups for design apps, browsers and dev tools. One click launches my entire workflow.
Simple, lightweight, and it just works. No bloat and no subscription. Exactly what a Mac utility should be.
The favourites bar is genius. My top apps are always one click away, and the app uses barely any memory.
Installed it across our entire team. Everyone likes how fast they can switch between apps now.
I switched from Alfred for app launching. ShortcutDock is cleaner, and the grid view shows me everything at once.
The compact view is perfect for quick access. I can toggle between grid and list views depending on what I am doing.
Finally a Mac app that does one thing and does it perfectly. It starts free, and the Pro upgrade is a single payment rather than a subscription.
As a developer I have more than fifty apps installed. ShortcutDock makes it easy to launch any of them without cluttering my Dock.
